Without losing a single set since the quarter-finals, Sesi Vôlei Bauru claimed the 2022 Women’s Copa Brasil, winning the unprecedented title in the club history. The São Paulo side played an impeccable final match in Blumenau, trampling over the last years’ winners of the competition Itambé/Minas: 3-0 (25-18, 27-25, 25-20). Previously, Sesi Bauru eliminated Sesc RJ Flamengo in the quarter-finals, and surprisingly, just like they prevailed in the decider, Dentil/Praia Clube in the semis. Thus, the team commanded by Rubinho took its first-ever trophy in the tournament on the national level.

American Nia Reed top-scored the winning side in the final with 18 points. Minas were weakened in the match as the Turk Neriman Özsoy (calf injury) and Thaísa Daher (already sidelined for some time) couldn’t play. Conquering the Brazilian Cup secured Sesi Bauru a place in the next Brazilian Super Cup and South American Club Championship.
