Italian media reported that Nimir Abdel-Aziz, the most efficient player of the Italian men’s volleyball side Leo Shoes PerkinElmer Modena at the moment, is set to leave the club at the end of the season.
After the elimination from the two competitions, the Italian Cup and CEV Cup, doubts about the long-term project of Modena started to rise. According to Italian media, Abdel-Aziz exercised his option on the termination of the contract with the club. This doesn’t mean that he’ll automatically and definitely depart because he has to find a club willing to pay the € 150,000 buy-out clause or to pay the sum out of his own pocket. The Dutchman’s contract, just like the ones of Bruninho, Ngapeth, and Leal are valid until 2024.
