
Itambé Minas is just one point behind Sada Cruzeiro in the 2024/2025 Brazilan Superliga after a 3-1 win over Saneago Goiás (26-24, 20-25, 25-19, 25-15) in Belo Horizonte.
Despite missing some key players, Minas adapted well. Paulo Vinicios Silva led with 17 points, while Arthur Bento, returning from injury, earned the VivaVôlei MVP (64% attack efficiency). Goiás had chances but couldn’t hold on, with Guilherme Araújo scoring 16 points.
