Sada Cruzeiro once again proved its dominance in Brazilian volleyball, beating Itambé Minas 3–0 (25–19, 25–20, 25–17) to claim its seventh Supercopa Masculina de Vôlei title on Sunday night at Guanandizão Arena.
The match, which opened the 2025 club season, brought together the Superliga champion (Sada Cruzeiro) and the Copa Brasil winner (Minas). But Minas, still chasing its first Supercopa title, couldn’t stop the celeste powerhouse.
Cruzeiro controlled the game from the start with strong serves and a solid block. Even when Minas took an early lead in the second set, Cruzeiro quickly turned things around and never looked back.
Douglas Souza was the standout, scoring 18 points and earning the VivaVôlei MVP award. Leonardo Lukas led Minas with nine points.
With titles in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2021, 2022, 2024, and 2025, Sada Cruzeiro remains the most successful team in Supercopa history — and shows no signs of slowing down.
