ARG W: The Argentina seniors get ready for the Grand Prix

Looking forward to the second consecutive participation of the Argentine Seniors' Women Team at the FIVB Grand Prix 2012, the most important annual FIVB competition for the best women teams, the girls coached by Horacio Bastit train very hard since Monday, May 21st when they concentrated at Cenard facilities.

A total of 17 players are at the actual roster and they are:

Yaccuzzi, Luisina – Opossite player
Boscacci, Leticia – Opossite player / Wing spiker
Nizetich, Yamila – Wing spiker
Fernandez, Josefina – Wing spiker
Cossar, Mariángeles – Wing spiker
Rizzo, Tatiana – Wing spiker / Libero
Gaido, Lucía – Libero
Sosa, Emilce – Middle player
Puntin, Julieta – Middle player
Carlotto, Florencia – Middle player
Busquets, Florencia – Middle player
Jersonsky, Camila – Middle player

Also, Georgina Pinedo and Daniela Gildenberger, both wing spikers are working with the team but recovering from their injuries.

Three different venues will have Argentina at this FIVB Grand Prix 2012 starting in Macao, China on the first days of June playing v the strong host team (one of first teams that qualified for the 2012 Olympic Games in London), Thailand and Puerto Rico.

Then, they move to Serbia, where they will face the host team, Cuba (one of the rivals at the start of the 2011 Grand Prix with the match won by Argentina) and Turkey. The third weeekend will find it in Thailand playing of course against the host team, Serbia and the powerful USA.
