Sesi gave chance to Maringá in Set 1 only, but it turned out that it was only a glimmer of hope for the hosts as Théo Lopes and Douglas Souza were ruthless until the end of the match, each scoring 20 points.
In Maringá, Edson Cerqueira stood out with 15 points.
