Brazil won their second Under-23 Women's South American Championship after beating Colombia 3-1 (15-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-16) in a thrilling final match in front of 3,000 people at the Coliseo Eduardo Dibos in Peru.

With this result Brazil won one of two CSV tickets to the 2017 FIVB age-group World Championship.

The bronze medal was won by hosts Peru who overcame Argentina 3-1 (25-23, 25-19, 18-25, 25-20).

The Most Valuable Player of the tournament was Maria Alejandra Marín of Colombia.

2nd Best Outside Hitter: Drusylla Costa (Brazil)

Best Outside Hitter: Angela Leyva (Peru)

Best Opposite: Dayana Segovia (Colombia)

Best Libero: Camila Gomez (Colombia)
