As Gian Luca Pasini from gazzetta.it wrote in his blog, starting middle blocker of Italy National Team was off the court for five days since he has been suffering a muscle injury in pool stage exactly against the opponents in tomorrow’s gold medal match.
Initial assessments showed Piano will miss the rest of the tournament but apparently there is a big chance he will play the gold medal match.
