BRA M: Cruzeiro grab first title in 2017/18 as they beat Minas in state championship finals

Sada Cruzeiro Vôlei began their supremacy in the 2017/18 season in Brazil by winning the state championship title for the eighth time in a row.

Cruzeiro set off the official season in the Brazilian Men’s volleyball by downing Minas Tênis Clube 3-1 (25-23, 25-15, 22-25, 25-14) in the finals of the Minas Gerais Championship (Campeonato Mineiro) in front of own crowd.

The Cuban Yoandy Leal topped the winning side with 17 points while his compatriot Robertlandy Simón earned the MVP award.
