The Bulgarian opposite hitter won his third CEV Men’s Volleyball Champions League gold medal last night in Berlin. But, still, he is seeing the one with Cucine Lube Civitanova as very special.

Tsvetan “Tsetso“ Sokolov stood out as the best scorer for Cucine Lube Civitanova in the Super Final against the reigning champions Zenit Kazan, showing to his, most likely, new employers what he is capable of producing on the court.

“Is this a dream come true? Absolutely. Last year we lost, so this year it was extremely important to beat Zenit Kazan. Zenit is one of the best teams in the world and dominated the last seasons of the Champions League, so to win against them feels extremely good. The atmosphere was great and I hope we can come back to the final next year,” Sokolov said after the match in which his team ended four-year domination of Zenit in the Champions League.

Because Zenit and most volleyball people realize when healthy Sokolov is the best in the world. Juantorena may have recieved MVPs but Sokolov carried this Lube team over the top . Ive said before, this will be a tremendous loss to Lube.

???
What Win Wallace, what Win Tsetso? Also Tsetso is a very good blocker then Wallace. This is better for ewevry team who hi play every year.
Also Tsetso is a complex player… He is possible to play every position on a court(without libero still), then Wallace!!!
In Bulgaria He was played Leal/Kovar position, after this in Cuneo he was played center with slovak Emanuel Kohut, after this in Trento and now in Civitanova -opposite

Re: @Paolo
More titles He Win with SADA, and national team, so Bulgaria like a team is not very good like Brazil, as players and the club team SADA you know many years, with Leal in this team they don’t have many competitors in South America. Only 1-2 Argentine teams like UPCN, Bolivar, but you know, they are not in the same level with SADA in good years…

In Europe, there is many good teams like Zenit Kazan, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk, Belgorod, Lube, Trento, Modena, and Polish team
