The Netherlands were too strong for Croatia 3-0 (25-16, 25-18, 25-23) on Day 4 of the 2019 EuroVolley to remain undefeated (3-0). The “Oranje“ did not lose a single set so far as well.

The only disappointment for the Dutch side was the injury of Maret Balkestein-Grothues of at the start of the match. The Dutch captain sprained her ankle when she landed on the foot of Sanja Popović-Gamma. The severity of Balkestein-Grothues’ injury is unclear at the moment.

Nika Daalderop was the Dutch most prolific player with 15 points. Samanta Fabris scored 10 for Croatia, making a rather poor attack success rate of 32,1% (9/28).
