Italy-U18-Men
The hosts Italy and Bulgaria swept their rivals, Belgium and Turkey respectively, in Round 2 of Pool I in Marsicovetere and both secured a spot in the semifinals. In a direct duel in the last round, they will decide on the top spot in the pool. At the moment Bulgaria is one point ahead of Italy (6 vs 5).
In the other pool, in Lecce, Poland achieved a straight-set victory over Germany and became the third national team to qualify for the semis. As for Germany, they will have to beat the Czech Republic by a 3-0 or 3-1 in the last round to earn a spot in the top four. However, given that they beat Belarus (3-0) today, the Czechs would satisfy with two points from that duel.
