CEV CUP M: Dinamo Moscow down Montpellier, the trophy will go to Russia!

Dinamo Moscow have confirmed the place in the final of the CEV Cup 2020/2021 season, beating Montpellier away in straight sets 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-10).

After 3-1 in Russia, this result just confirmed that Dinamo is in much better shape compared to the French team, who scored some good results in the European competitions this season.

Sam Deroo was the top scorer of the game with 12 points, while Yaroslav Podlesnykh contributed with 10 points. On the other side, Joachim Panou and Joseph Sclater ended the game with 11 points each.

Zenit St. Petersburg managed to reach the finals yesterday, after a dramatic game in Belgium, where they had to play a golden set.

Semifinals, CEV CUP:

Montpellier – Dinamo Moscow 0-3 (23-25, 22-25, 10-25), first leg 1-3

Maaseik – Zenit St. Petersburg 3-0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-19), golden set 16-18
