The first leg of the final in Poland concluded with a 3-1 win for Projekt Warszawa, laying the groundwork for an intense rematch in Italy. Despite the support of over 3,200 fans at the Opiquad Arena, the Italian team couldn’t overturn the first-leg result, allowing Projekt Warszawa to secure the title confidently after the first two sets.
The match was a testament to Projekt Warszawa’s strength, particularly during the second set where they dominated from the start, leaving Monza trailing with a decisive 16-25 set victory. Although the hosts managed a win in the third set, it was not enough to deter Projekt Warszawa, who sealed their triumph with a 22-25 win in the fourth set.
