Conegliano March into CEV Champions League Final with 3:1 Triumph Over Milano

A.Carraro Imoco Conegliano have booked their place in the CEV Champions League Women final after a thrilling 3:1 (25-21, 20-25, 25-17, 25-23) win over Italian rivals Numia Vero Volley Milano, repeating last season’s final outcome.
The match began with Milano showing early promise, led by Paola Egonu, who fired in quick points and gave her team a short-lived lead. But Conegliano responded swiftly, with Zhu Ting and Isabelle Haak finding their rhythm to turn the set around and win 25:21.
Milano bounced back in the second and take the set 25:20. However, Conegliano stayed composed. The third set saw the defending champions dominate, taking it 25:17.
The fourth set was tense, with both sides trading points. In the end, Conegliano edged ahead and sealed the win 25:23. Zhu Ting ended with 21 points and Haak added 20, while Gabi contributed with 14. On Milan’s side, Helena Cazaute was the top scorer with 18 points (49% attack efficiency), followed by Paola Egonu with 15 points (only 31% attack efficiency).
With this win, Conegliano advance to their sixth CEV Champions League final in eight seasons, eyeing back-to-back titles. Milano will contend for bronze on Sunday.
