The German club secured a 3–0 win (25–19, 25–22, 25–17) in the first leg of the quarterfinal, putting them in firm control ahead of next week’s return match in France. Dresden now require just two sets away from home to book their place in the final four.

Head coach Alexander Waibl praised his team’s all-around performance. “We followed our game plan and applied pressure with our serve,” he said. “Even when Mulhouse led in parts of the match, we stayed composed and responded with strong defense and blocking.”

Match Summary:
Dresden 3–0 Mulhouse (25–19, 25–22, 25–17)

Marta Levinska led the scoring with 16 points, while Jette Kuipers added 12. Dresden controlled the tempo early and, despite brief Mulhouse leads in the second and third sets, regained momentum through disciplined net play and consistent serving. For Mulhouse the most effective was opposite Reagan Rutherford with 15 points scored (50% attack).

The result gives Dresden breathing room, but the tie remains alive as Mulhouse prepare to respond on their home court in the second leg.
