LMV Tricolorul Ploieşti remained the second-placed in Divizia A1 after beating CS Dinamo București by a 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, 25-20) in Round 18. The veteran outside hitter Bogdan-Alexandru Olteanu played an incredible game for the winning side. An excellent display of a 36-year-old player was not reflected that much in scored points, although he was the best scorer in Ploieşti with 13 points, but in reception, as he made 100% positive reception (50% excellent reception; 12 digs)! The import from Saint Lucia, Julian Bissette, contributed with 6 kill blocks. The Brazilian Caio Provenzano de Prá, the best scorer and server of the tournament so far, tallied 10 points for Dinamo.
By defeating CS ”U” Cluj 3-0, CSM București secured their spot in the Final Six (the second stage) of Divizia A1. The Russian Sergey Burtsev topped CSM București with 10 points.
