UVC Holding Graz will play in the final of the Austrian volleyball league for the first time in the club history.

Tonight they defeated SG SVS Post with 3-1 (25-17, 25-19, 20-25, 27-25) and UVC Holding Graz finished the semifinal series with 2-1 in the wins.

In the big final of the season, they will face Kelag Klagenfurt.

Top scorers of the match were: Ursula Ehrhart (20 points) and Birgit Ebster-Schwarzenberger (18) from Graz, Paula Kubová (16) and Cornelia Rimser (11) from Post. Graz were clearly stronger in attack (53:37), scoring more aces (11: 9). Sokol / Post get three more block points (11: 8). In addition, one committed less self-error (25:29)…

This is VERY good for the Austrian League IMO. Eventually another league champion after an ETERNITY of domination by the SG SVS POST club.
