“My players reacted well in some moment in the game, passing well and attacking efficiently. Throughout the tournament, we improved in the offensive end with each passing game. Today, we attacked with a very high percentage” said coach Giovanni Guidetti.

I think the preparatory tournament was very productive for us. These encounters were important to us in order to get the habit of winning in the World Championship preparation process. In the second match of the day, Russia defeated Azerbaijan with 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-18). Ksenia Parubets led the team with 10 points, while Polina Rahimova scored 15 points for Azerbaijan.
