Serbia defeated Turkey in the final after only three sets (25-20, 25-18, 25-20) and Sara Carić, very talented opposite of Serbia was named for the MVP of the Balkan championship. Serbia and Turkey met 10 times in the finals and until now Serbia won the 11th gold medals.
In the match for the third place, Bulgaria outplayed Montenegro also with 3-0 (25-20, 25-16, 25-18).
This Balkan Championship was the last check for some teams who will participate at the European Championship U19 in Albania.
