by WoV

Brazil were in a difficult situation before the start of the match, because a loss to Canada could have been a huge step backward at the World Championship...

In order to stay in a good position for the second round, Brazil needed a victory and they achieved it against the undefeated team so far Canda 3-1 (25-22, 19-25, 25-23, 25-18).

Brazil have opened the game by winning the first sets, while the Canadian team and pressure put them in a difficult position in the second set when they couldn’t do anything to stop the rival.

In the third and the fourth set, Renan Dal Zotto’s side raised the level of the play to beat the Canadian side in four sets!

Wallace de Souza had 24 points in a jersey of Brazil, while on the other side John Perrin ended a game with 18 points.
