WCH 2018 W: Santana led Puerto Rico in win over Kenya

Daly Santa was the leader in the win of Puerto Rico over Kenya at the FIVB World Championship in Japan.

Today in Hamamatsu, Puerto Rico scored their second consecutive win in Pool D and Daly Santana was the top scorer of the match with 18 points. She got a help from Stephanie Enright who scored 13 points and Diana Reyes with 11 points.

On the opponent’s side, Mercy Moim finished the match with 11 points and she was the only player from Kenya with the double effect.

After Day 3, Puerto Rico have 2-1 in wins and 6 points while Kenya 1-2 and 3 points.

Puerto Rico’s captain Natalia Valentin: “They had strong serves, blocks and hits. We adjusted to have more discipline on our blocks and that was key. We are still working to reach our goals and objectives for this tournament.”
