The Women's Volleyball Club World Championship has been started today!

Minas vs. Le Cannet

Minas vs. Le Cannet

Two Brazilians teams opened the tournament and we can confirm that Praia Clube had a much easier game. They met the Thai side Supreme and defeated them in straight sets 3-0 (25-22, 25-16, 25-14).

Ana Carolina Silva and Fernanda Rodrigues were the top scorers of the game with 13 points each, while Nicole Fawcett had 12 and Fabiana Claudino added 10.

In Supreme, Thinkaow Pleumjit scored 12 points.

We’ve witnessed a much more interesting game between Minas and Volero Le Cannet. The Brazilian side was more lucky to win the game in the tie-break 16-14.

Caroline Gattaz was the best scorer with 19 points on the winning side, while Alvarez Heidy ended the game with 25 points on the other side.
