VNL W: Goncharova leads Russia to the win over Germany, an easy victory for Japan

Russia and Japan have achieved victories at the start of the Volleyball Nations League 2021.

Natalya Goncharova was the best player in the win of Russia over Germany, finishing the game with 20 points. Irina Voronkova contributed with 14 points.

In Germany, Jennifer Janiska had 11 points while Hanna Orthmann scored 10 points.

Japan didn’t have any difficulties at the start of the competition, defeating Thailand in straight sets 25-15, 25-17, 25-16.

Erika Shinomiya was the top scorer of the game with 14 points, while Ai Kurogo added 13, Sarina Koga 12 and Hariyo Shimamura 10. In Thailand, Pleumjit Thinkaow ended the game with 10 points.
