The stage is set for the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) 2025! Volleyball World has revealed the host cities, match schedules, and ticketing details for both the men’s and women’s tournaments, promising an electrifying season in volleyball hotspots across the globe.
Kickoff in Powerhouses
The women’s action begins June 4-8 in Ottawa (Canada), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), and Beijing (China). The men follow from June 11-15, starting in Quebec City (Canada), Rio, and Xi’an (China).
Global Showdown Continues
In Week 2, Istanbul (Türkiye), Hong Kong (China), and Belgrade (Serbia) host the women’s matches from June 18-22, while the men take over Burgas (Bulgaria), Chicago (USA), and Belgrade from June 25-29. A rest week for the men from June 30-July 6 ensures peak performance in the following rounds.
Final Preliminary Rounds
The women close their preliminary battles July 9-13 in Apeldoorn (Netherlands), Arlington (USA), and Kanto (Japan). The men conclude their round from July 15-20 in Gdansk (Poland), Ljubljana (Slovenia), and Kanto.
Big Changes, Bigger Stakes
VNL 2025 welcomes 18 teams per gender with newcomers China, Ukraine (men), Czech Republic, and Belgium (women). The revamped format guarantees 216 matches of high-octane volleyball across three weeks, with teams competing in 12 games each in rotating pools.
Finals Await
The Finals are set for July 23-27 (women) and July 30-August 3 (men). Host cities for the ultimate showdown will be announced soon.
