Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie delivered a dominant performance to secure a place in the semifinals of the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship in Belém, Brazil.

The Polish side swept past Brazil’s Praia Clube 3–0 (25-19, 25-9, 25-14), finishing Pool A unbeaten in their first-ever appearance at the tournament. The win confirmed Warta Zawiercie as group winners and set up a semifinal clash with Japan’s Osaka Bluteon. Italy’s Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia will meet Brazil’s Vôlei Renata Campinas in the other semifinal. Both matches will be played on Saturday.
American outside hitter Aaron Russell led Zawiercie with 16 points, while Bartosz Kwolek added 12. Praia struggled to keep pace and failed to produce a double-digit scorer.
Warta Zawiercie will now look to put Polish volleyball back on the Club World Championship podium for the first time in more than a decade.
