The FIVB is one of the largest international sports organisations in the world, consisting of 222 national federations, getting stronger by each year after being established at a first Congress, on April 18-20, 1947, in Paris, France, where a Frenchman Paul Libaud was elected as its first President. At this first FIVB Congress, 14 countries had their representatives. So, from 14 countries to currently 222 involved in a work of the FIVB. Not bad, right? So far, 35 Congresses have been held, last one on October 4-6, 2016.
The above mentioned FIVB World Congress 2016 has confirmed a new four-year mandate to President, Brazilian Dr. Ary S. Graça F°, who has been at the helm of organization since 2012. He is the fourth President of the FIVB since it has been founded: Paul Libaud (FRA/1947–1984), Rubén Acosta (MEX/1984–2008), Wei Jizhong (CHN/2008–2012) and Ary Graça (BRA/2012-present).

MISINFORMED!
The old man, Ary S. Graça (73 y.o.) was electect for another 2 (TWO!) mandates, not by vote, but by…. acclamation! How can volleyball revive with such primitive people in leadership??
