WL 2017: Iran barely defeat Argentina to stay in race for F6!

Fully packed arena in Tehran helped Iran win the game against Argentina!

Fortunately for home fans the game ended in a good way for Iran 3-2 (29-27, 25-20, 20-25, 23-25, 15-11).

Igor Kolakovic’s side had 2-0 lead but in another two sets Argentina played at a much higher level, leveling the score to 2:2. In the tie break, Iran set up the control and won the game to stay in race for Final Six tournament in Brazil.

Manavi was the best scorer in Iran with 26, while Ebadipour added 22. On the other side Poglajen had 22 and Crer 19 points.

Poland – Canada 3-1 (25-21, 27-25, 20-25, 25-19 )
