Brazil will play in the final of the FIVB World Grand Prix 2017 Group 1 after they defeated Serbia 3-1 (20-25, 25-23, 25-14, 25-23) in the first semifinal of the day.

Serbia opened match very powerful. Tijana Bošković dominated on the net, she played perfect and we can say that the first set was “Boskovićc set” which Serbia won 25-20.

In the next two sets Tandara and Drussyla led Brazil, Adenizia also was unstoppable and Brazil took the lead for 2-1.

The fourth set was uncertain from the beginning. Teams have played point by point and Brazil finished it with the block over Boskovic.

At the end, the Serbian opposite scored 31 points followed by Milena Rašić who scored 13, while on the Brazilian side Tandara scored 24 and Drussyla 11 points.

The victory gave Brazil the opportunity to defend their title in the World Grand Prix. They have previously won the World Grand Prix 11 times and have been runners-up for five times.
