VNL M: Heynen shortens list to 21 players that will compete in 2018 Volleyball Nations League

In accordance with the FIVB regulations, Poland head coach Heynen shortened the 26-man preliminary list to 21 players that will compete in the 2018 Volleyball Nations League. Marcin Komenda, Damian Wojtaszek, Jan Nowakowski, Tomasz Fornal, and Norbert Huber are players who did not make it to the official list but will remain as backups in case of an injury of some of the summoned players.

The 21-man roster:

Dawid Konarski – Jastrzębski Węgiel, opposite

Łukasz Kaczmarek – Cuprum Lubin, opposite

Artur Szalpuk – Trefl Gdańsk, outside hitter

Damian Schulz – Trefl Gdańsk, opposite

Bartłomiej Lemański – Asseco Resovia Rzeszów, middle blocker

Fabian Drzyzga – Lokomotiv Novosibirsk (RUS), setter

Grzegorz Łomacz – PGE Skra Bełchatów, setter

Michał Kubiak – Panasonic Panthers (JPN), outside hitter (captain)

Aleksander Śliwka – Asseco Resovia Rzeszów, outside hitter
