The French men’s club volleyball champions Cannes found themselves a new opposite hitter.
After a disastrous start to the season, Cannes, reigning French men’s club champions, are reshaping the roster to avoid relegation. So after replacing the head coach Horacio Dileo with Nikola Matijašević and the departures of Gabriele Nelli and Christian Fromm, two players arrived.
One of them is Ronald Jiménez, the Best Outside Spiker of the 2015 South American Championship. For the Colombian opposite hitter, Cannes will be the third team this season: he moved from Poland’s Cuprum Lubin to Korea’s Cheonan Hyundai Capital Skywalkers, who in recent days have crossed him off due to injury and replaced him with Felipe Banderò.
The other arrival is Aleksa Batak. Young Serbian setter (21) came from Mladi Radnik Požarevac.
