Tours will remain at the top of the standings in the French Championship after 17th round. Vital Heynen and his boys downed Montpellier for the second time in the last three days and scored their 3rd consecutive win in the domestic league. The man of the match was experienced David Konecny who made 16 points. 

At the same time, AS Cannes continued their fall. The red and whites got beaten by Nantes at home court and stayed just above the relegation zone…
