Vital Heynen’s protégés beat visiting team of Spacer’s Toulouse Volley 3-2 (25-16, 25-23, 23-25, 24-26, 15-8) and thus, took ’only’ two points despite having all three in their pocket after 2-0 in sets.
Now, Tours will not depend entirely on themselves. They remained second placed with same number of points as leaders Arago de Sète V.B. but with one game more played than rivals for top spot.
Serbian Konstantin Čupković was the top scorer in Tours with 27 points while Trévor Clévenot had 23 in Toulouse.
