Gian Luca Pasini from La Gazzetta dello Sport revealed which country is the favorite to organize the European Men’s Volleyball Qualifying Tournament for the Tokyo Olympics.

Germany

Germany

After revealing that Turkey will most likely organize the European Women’s Qualifications, Pasini wrote in his blog that Germany holds pole position when it comes to hosting the Men’s tournament. Both are about to be played on January 2020 and will serve as the final chance to European teams who fail to reach the Olympics via FIVB International Qualifier. Only the first-placed side in the European Qualifications will go to Tokyo.

National federations all over the Old Continent are obliged to send the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) request for organizing qualifications not later than August 23. Then, the various continental confederations must communicate with the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) until August 31.
