The Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV) announced the summoning of four players that took a break from recent Women’s national team duties.

The opposite hitter Sheilla Castro is officially back in Brazil national team after three years of not playing Volleyball at all! She was not on the list for the FIVB International Qualifier for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, despite joining preparations, but will be on the list for two upcoming tournaments that Brazil will play in 2019 – the South American Championship and FIVB World Cup.

The head coach of “Seleção” José Roberto Guimarães “Zé Roberto”, who will be at the helm of the national team for only one more year, pardoned three players who asked for dismissal in April, prior to the FIVB Nations League: the libero Camila Brait and outside hitters Drussyla and Gabi Cândido.

Camila Brait, who did not play for Brazil since the Rio Olympics, did not give her reasons for dismissal in April, while Drussyla Costa was recovering from a tibial fracture in her right leg and Gabriela Cândido “Gabi Cândido” from a panic disorder.
