The record German men’s volleyball champions, VfB Friedrichshafen, completed a last-minute transfer.

The Germany National Team member Marcus Böhme is the new player of Friedrichshafen and he had already made his debut in the 2020/21 Bundesliga.

An experienced middle blocker, named as the best in his position in the 2014 FIVB World Championship and 2017 CEV EuroVolley, came to the ranks of the record German titleholders without pomp given there have been no announcements on the transfer on any of the club’s social media or a website.

A 35-year-old player spent the last season in Russia, wearing the jersey of Dinamo-LO. This way, Böhme has returned to play in Germany after six years and to Friedrichshafen after eight years.
