Leozao-and-Juninho
The opposite hitter Leonardo Pinheiro ‘Leozão’ and the outside hitter Valdir Gonçalves Júnior ‘Juninho’ will be the only two foreign players in the squad of UPCN San Juan Voley for 2020/21.
The most titled Argentine men’s club in the national championship after the withdrawal of Bolívar Voley closed an agreement with a duo a couple of months ago but their arrival has been completed just now due to COVID-19 related restrictions.
A 34-year-old Leozão collected several appearances for the Brazil National Team and came to UPCN from Cyprus’ Nea Salamina Famagusta. As for a 33-year-old Juninho, he competed in his home country in 2019/20, more precisely with Maringá Vôlei.
