“Europe’s Volleyball family and the organisers of the 2015 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League – Men’s Final Four tournament are deeply sorrowed by the news reporting on the tragic airplane crash that on Tuesday took the lives of as many as 150 people in the French Alps. As such the preparations for the major event scheduled for this coming Saturday and Sunday, March 28-29, at the Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin will continue as planned whilst actions will be undertaken throughout the weekend to pay respect to the casualties of this accident. At this stage, the prayers and thoughts of the Volleyball family go out to the relatives and friends of those who perished in the crash.”
