A 29-year-old outside hitter, who was one-time MVP of the Greek Championship and Cup, Eva Chantava, will stay in her home country for one more season. After spending the last season at PAOK, the Greece National Team member has joined Panathinaikos AO for 2020/21.
By hiring one-time Greek and Romanian Cup winner, Chantava, the Athens club is trying to compensate departures of several key players: the libero Panagiota Rogka, opposite hitter Maria Oikonomidou (both to AON Pannaxiakos), middle blocker Anna Kalantatze, and setter Olga Vegidou (both to PAOK).
