On Saturday, Olympiacos edged past PAOK THESSALONIKI in straight sets (25-20, 25-12, and 25-16) before an almost sold-out house in Kalamata to get the right to take on A.O.
KIFISIA that downed A.E.K. ATHENS in the second semifinal doing so with a similar score line (25-18, 25-18, and 25-18). The final match coming up today (CET 18:30), will be the fourth time Olympiacos and A.O. KIFISIA cross their ways this season.
Olympiacos represented Greece in this year’s CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League and also participated in the Challenge Round of the CEV Volleyball Cup losing there to Russia’s rookie Guberniya NIZHNIY NOVGOROD.
