A 22-year-old Argentinean outside hitter Elina Rodríguez joined Imoco and will be registered within the deadline (April 12) for the 2018/19 Samsung Volley Cup A1 playoff quarterfinals in which the team from Conegliano entered as the top seed.
A few days ago, Rodríguez ended the season with Hinode Barueri by being eliminated in the Brazilian Superliga Cimed playoff quarterfinals to Osasco Voleibol Clube/Audax. From 2016, she has been constantly summoned to compete with Argentina national team, playing the 2018 FIVB World Championship and previously the FIVB Volleyball Nations League, FIVB World Grand Prix and the Pan American Championship.
Rodríguez got the right to defend the colors of Imoco only in the Italian playoffs given the expiry of the deadline for the 2019 CEV Champions League registration.
