Perugia
The reigning champions Perugia have made the first step toward to Scudetto, beating Modena in four sets at the home court 25-15, 26-24, 21-25, 26-24.
Since Aleksandar Atanasijevic was not able to help his team due to suspension, Wilfredo Leon had to play at a much higher level to down Modena. The Cuban-born player had 24 points, while Lanza added 12.
On the other side Bartosz Bednorz scored 17 points.
A clash between Trentino and Lube brought us dramatic game in which the away side managed to come out as the winners thanks to the crazy display of Tsvetan Sokolov. The Bulgarian star scored 36 points to lead Lube to a comeback after trailing by 2-1.
Osmany Juantorena contributed with 15, while on the other side Uros Kovacevic ended the game with 24 points.
