Milano, driven by the 21 points of the Dutch bomber Nimir Abdel-Aziz (MVP of the match), dominated over the home side of Monza (3-0: 25-22, 29-27, 25-21) in the opening match of the 2019/20 Superlega Credem Banca regular season. The hosts squandered a 10-4 lead in the second set and 4 setpoints, missing a chance to tie the overall score at 1-1.
