In an advanced match of Round 7 of the 2019/20 Lega Pallavolo Serie A Femminile regular season, Imoco Volley Conegliano swept the home side of Bosca San Bernardo Cuneo, who suffered fourth defeat in a row, by a 3-0 (25-23, 25-14, 25-20). This was an eighth consecutive success (no defeats) for Imoco, who recorded the win without major star Paola Egonu. Imoco head coach Santarelli decided to give her a day off in order to save the strength for the Super Cup against Igor Gorgonzola Novara that will be played this Saturday. Indre Sorokaite top-scored for Imoco with 14 points, while American Chiaka Ogbogu made 5 kill blocks. As for Cuneo, Belgian Lise van Hecke tallied 12 points.
Igor Gorgonzola Novara have finally welcomed a debut of famous Serbian opposite hitter Jovana Brakočević-Canzian who was sidelined for a long time due to injury. She was not a starter in the match against Golden Tulip VolAlto 2.0 Caserta but entered the court in the first set, even was in the line-up in the fourth set. The European champions prevailed over Caserta on the road by a 3-1 with Bulgarian Elitsa Vasileva chipping in 22 points. Canadian Alexa Gray scored 19 for Caserta.
