“The King” stays here! That’s how Perugia informed their fans of an agreement with Cuban-born superstar Wilfredo León on the renewal for the next 2 seasons (2020/21 and 2021/22).
León’s trophy collection so far with the “Block Devils” consists of an Italian Cup and an Italian Super Cup, on both occasions with the MVP award of the competition. In a season and a half in Italy, the 26-year-old player scored 1,052 points, won over 800 kills, and served 186 aces.
