Jan Zimmermann left Poland’s BBTS Bielsko-Biała after only four appearances in the new season. The German player, who until now was the main setter for the PlusLiga side, decided to move to Italy. He chose an offer to play in Monza. Due to the injury of the Brazilian Fernando Kreling ’Cachopa’, the SuperLega club was looking for a new player to cover this role, and the choice fell on Zimmermann.

For Zimmermann, it’ll be a return to Italy after a short break to perform in Poland as he finished last season in Pallavolo Padova. The 29-year-old setter has been playing in the Germany National Team since 2014.
