As the echoes of Italy’s triumphant performance at the recent Paris Olympics still reverberate, Vero Volley Milano is ready to embark on a thrilling new season. Vero Volley Milano has resumed training at Opiquad Arena, gearing up for a competitive 2024-2025 season that promises action on both national and international stages.
Under the guidance of new head coach Stefano Lavarini, the team is preparing to make its mark across several prestigious tournaments. Vero Volley Milano is set to compete in Serie A1, the CEV Champions League, and the Supercoppa, with an exciting debut at the Club World Championship also on the horizon.
Currently, Lavarini and his coaching staff have ten players at their disposal. The team eagerly anticipates the return of star players such as Danesi, Egonu, Orro, Sylla, and Greek international Kostantinidou, who will join their teammates with fresh Olympic gold medals.
Lavarini expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming season, stating, “We are filled with great emotions and motivation to ensure a successful season. We will begin our preparations gradually, combining physical training with technical drills to reach optimal conditions. Our goal is to build a solid team dynamic and maintain consistency from the start. It will be a demanding season, but we have high ambitions and opportunities across various competitions. My experience with the Polish team at the Olympics was a dream come true for anyone in sports, and while we finished with a historic sixth place, we are pleased with our achievements.”
