In a thrilling tie-break, Mint Vero Volley Monza defeated Cucine Lube Civitanova 3-2 (25-13, 22-25, 17-25, 31-29, 15-12), with Taylor Averill earning MVP honors. Meanwhile, Sonepar Padova triumphed 3-1 over Gioiella Prisma Taranto (25-20, 25-21, 24-26, 25-19), thanks to Veljko Masulovic’s stellar 20-point performance.
Rana Verona edged Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina 3-2 (25-17, 25-16, 23-25, 17-25, 15-13), with Rok Mozic being named MVP, while Perugia continued its unbeaten streak with a 3-0 sweep of Modena (25-22, 27-25, 25-21). Trento also dominated Allianz Milano 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-19), led by Alessandro Michieletto’s 17 points.
Piacenza secured a hard-fought 3-1 victory against Cisterna Volley (25-21, 22-25, 25-23, 27-25), with Antoine Brizard named MVP.
