Rana Verona continued their impressive run of form delivering a commanding 3–0 victory over MA Acqua S. Bernardo Cuneo in front of 5,150 fans at a packed Pala AGSM AIM. It marked Verona’s sixth straight win and their second clean sweep in just a few days.
The home side set the tone early, racing through the opening set with pace and precision before controlling the second. Cuneo mounted a stronger challenge in the third, but Verona stayed composed in the closing stages to seal the match in three sets.
Captain Rok Mozic stole the spotlight on his birthday, leading all scorers with 17 points and an outstanding 76% success rate in attack. He was well supported by Noumory Keita (14 points) and Darlan Souza (12), as Verona’s balanced offense proved too much for the visitors.
Despite a late push from Cuneo, including several service aces and solid blocking, Verona responded decisively, closing the final set 25–23 and securing all three points.
Verona will now turn their attention to next Sunday’s away match against Cisterna, looking to extend their winning streak.
