After two silver medals in a row at EuroVolley tournaments, this time Italy went home with a bronze. Still, even though they haven’t reached the last step, Simone Ginnelli stated that the bronze medal was also very important for the whole squad.
“Bulgaria is a good team and they played at home, but we managed to win this bronze medal. It was like athe final to us. We played well and we are very happy.”
